The A5.
The Audi A5 is an all-new third-generation model that replaces the previous A4 sedan, built on Audi's new Premium Platform Combustion architecture and sold in the US as a four-door liftback rather than a traditional sedan or the old A5 Sportback. For 2027 it uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder rated at 268 hp and 295 lb-ft, a 7-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission and standard quattro all-wheel drive.
For 2027 Audi simplified the A5 to a single Premium trim built around configurable option packages, including a Sport Plus package with adaptive S sport suspension and unique wheels. A 14.5-inch MMI touch display and 11.9-inch Audi virtual cockpit plus form a panoramic digital display across the cabin.
It suits buyers who want a compact-executive sedan positioned between the A3 and A6, without the complexity of a multi-trim lineup.
