The RS 7.
The Audi RS 7 performance is the high-performance Sportback from Audi's now-discontinued A7/S7 range. Audi dropped the A7 and S7 from the US lineup for 2026 as the A6 sedan took over that segment, but kept the RS 7 performance on sale for the 2026 model year. It uses a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 rated at 621 hp and 627 lb-ft, an 8-speed Tiptronic automatic and quattro all-wheel drive.
Audi quotes 0-60 mph in 3.3 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph, or 190 mph with the optional Dynamic package; the EPA rates it at 14 mpg city and 21 highway. It is sold in a single RS 7 performance trim with standard air spring suspension, a sport rear differential and all-wheel steering, quilted leather seating, dual-touchscreen MMI and 24.6 cu ft of cargo space; forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking and a surround-view camera are standard, while adaptive cruise control is a $2,000 option. As of October 2026, Audi has not announced a 2027 RS 7 or priced a successor.
It suits buyers who want V8 power and Sportback practicality in Audi's last A7-based model still sold in the US.
