The S8.
The Audi S8 is the performance version of the A8, sold in the US only in long-wheelbase S8 L form. Like the A8, it remains on sale despite Audi ending A8/S8 orders in Europe, with a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 and 48-volt mild-hybrid assist rated at 563 hp and 590 lb-ft, an 8-speed automatic transmission and quattro all-wheel drive with a standard sport differential.
It shares the A8's cabin and dual-screen MMI setup, adding a standard sport differential that actively splits power rear-to-rear, with predictive active body control and all-wheel steering available.
It suits buyers who want Audi's most powerful full-size sedan with the A8's chauffeur-grade rear-seat space.
