The SQ7.
The Audi SQ7 is the performance version of the third-generation Q7, swapping the Q7's 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 for a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 rated at 591 hp and 590 lb-ft, an 8-speed Tiptronic automatic and quattro all-wheel drive with a rear-biased, electronically controlled locking differential. For 2027 that's a 91-hp jump over the outgoing V8 and a 0.3-second quicker 0-60 time.
For 2027 Audi collapsed the SQ7 to a single trim, replacing the prior Premium Plus/Prestige split with configurable option packages; it keeps the Q7's seven-seat, three-row layout with an optional six-seat captain's-chair configuration, and adds standard sport-tuned adaptive air suspension, larger brakes and 22-inch wheels over the base Q7. Cargo space, towing capacity (7,700 lb) and interior dimensions are essentially the same as the Q7's.
It suits buyers who want three-row practicality with V8 power, positioned by Audi against the BMW X5 M and Mercedes-AMG GLE 63.
