The AMG C 63.
The 2026 Mercedes-AMG C 63 S E PERFORMANCE replaced the previous V8-powered C 63 with a plug-in-hybrid 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that uses a Formula 1-derived electric exhaust-gas turbocharger, plus a 150kW/201-hp electric motor on the rear axle. Combined output is 671 hp and 752 lb-ft through an AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT nine-speed transmission and standard AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive.
Mercedes quotes 0-60 mph in 3.3 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph, raised to 174 mph with the optional AMG Performance Design Package. The EPA rates all-electric range at 0-1 mile and gas-only fuel economy at 20 mpg combined; curb weight is about 4,817 lbs, roughly 800-900 lbs more than the outgoing V8 model. It is offered as the base C 63 S E PERFORMANCE and the technology-focused Pinnacle trim, which adds equipment rather than power.
It suits buyers who want C-Class-size dimensions with the most power ever offered in the model, at the cost of added weight and minimal EV-only range.
