The Mercedes-AMG EQE 53 4MATIC+ is the performance version of the EQE electric sedan, built on the same 90.6 kWh platform but with dual AMG-tuned motors producing 617 hp, rising to 677 hp with AMG DYNAMIC SELECT's overboost function. It is quick for a luxury sedan, with AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive and a 3.2-second 0-60 mph time.
Mercedes-Benz has confirmed it is dropping the EQE sedan from the US lineup for the 2027 model year, including this AMG version, citing weak sales against the newer electric CLA and an incoming electric C-Class. 2026 is therefore the final US model year, and this entry reflects that last available configuration.
It suited buyers who wanted AMG performance and a quiet, efficient electric sedan in one package; used and remaining-inventory examples are now the only way to get one new.
