The 2027 Mercedes-AMG GT Coupe is the 2-door version of AMG's sports car, sold in the US as the GT 55, GT 63 and GT 63 PRO. All three use a handcrafted 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive and an AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT nine-speed transmission; the GT 55 makes 469 hp and 516 lb-ft, while the GT 63 PRO tops the lineup at 603 hp and 627 lb-ft.
Mercedes quotes 0-60 mph in 3.8 seconds for the GT 55 and 3.1 seconds for the GT 63 and GT 63 PRO, with an EPA rating of 14 mpg city and 20 highway across the range. The car seats two standard with rear seats optional, and gets AMG Dynamic Select drive modes, active rear-axle steering and an AMG high-performance composite braking system.
