The 2027 Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E PERFORMANCE is the plug-in-hybrid version of the 2-door AMG GT, combining a handcrafted 603-hp 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with a 150kW/201-hp electric motor built into a 2-speed gearbox on the rear axle. Combined output is 805 hp and 1,047 lb-ft, sent through an AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT nine-speed transmission and AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive.
Mercedes quotes 0-60 mph in 2.7 seconds. The 6.1-kWh battery is tuned for power rather than range, and the EPA rates all-electric range at 0-1 mile with 19 mpg combined on gasoline alone. Curb weight is about 4,850 lbs, roughly 800 lbs more than the non-hybrid GT 63, and the car seats two standard with rear seats optional.
It suits buyers who want the most powerful 2-door AMG GT and don't need meaningful electric-only range.
