The C-Class.
The C-Class is Mercedes-Benz's compact luxury sedan, and the 2026 model year is the newest version on sale in the US, ahead of a facelifted 2027 model arriving at dealers in the first half of 2027. The base C 300 and C 300 4MATIC use a 2.0L turbocharged inline-4 with an integrated starter-generator and 48-volt mild-hybrid assist, producing 255 hp and 295 lb-ft through a 9G-TRONIC nine-speed automatic, with rear-wheel drive standard and 4MATIC all-wheel drive available.
Above the C 300 sit the Mercedes-AMG C 43, a 416-hp inline-4 model, and the range-topping AMG C 63 S E Performance, a 671-hp plug-in hybrid pairing a 2.0L turbo four with a rear electric motor. All C-Class sedans get an 11.9-inch center touchscreen and 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster running third-generation MBUX.
It suits buyers who want a smaller, sportier Mercedes sedan than the E-Class, with a four-cylinder base car and a genuine high-performance plug-in-hybrid flagship at the top of the range.
