The Electric C-Class.
The C-Class with EQ Technology is Mercedes-Benz's first fully electric C-Class, officially revealed in 2026 for the 2027 model year. As of October 2026, the only version confirmed is the C 400 4MATIC, a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive model with 482 hp and an estimated 590 lb-ft, using a 94 kWh battery on an 800-volt architecture that supports DC fast charging up to 330 kW. Mercedes quotes 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds.
U.S. pricing and the EPA-rated range have not been officially published as of this writing; Mercedes has said the car arrives at U.S. dealerships for the 2027 model year, following its 2026 world premiere. A coupe-inspired silhouette, available AIRMATIC air suspension, available 4.5-degree rear-axle steering and an available 39.1-inch MBUX Hyperscreen are among the confirmed features, and Mercedes has signaled additional, more affordable variants will follow.
It suits buyers who want to move to an electric C-Class but should expect final U.S. pricing and EPA range to be confirmed closer to launch.
