The E-Class All-Terrain.
The E-Class All-Terrain is Mercedes-Benz's raised wagon version of the E-Class, sold in the US only in higher-output trims. The E 450 4MATIC All-Terrain uses a 3.0L turbocharged inline-6 with 48-volt mild-hybrid assist, rated at 375 hp and 369 lb-ft from the engine alone, with the integrated starter-generator briefly adding up to 23 hp and 151 lb-ft; it comes exclusively with 4MATIC all-wheel drive.
A Mercedes-AMG E 53 Hybrid All-Terrain joins above it, a plug-in hybrid rated at 577 hp combined. Both wagons share the E-Class sedan's cabin and MBUX technology, trading some of the sedan's low-speed poise for raised ride height and wagon-style cargo space.
It suits buyers who want E-Class comfort and a wagon's everyday cargo versatility without stepping up to the taller GLE SUV.
