The EQE.
The EQE is Mercedes-Benz's mid-size electric sedan, roughly matched to the E-Class in size. The rear-wheel-drive EQE 320+ uses a single motor and 96 kWh battery for 315 hp and an EPA-estimated 308 miles of range, while the 320 4MATIC adds a second motor for all-wheel drive, 564 lb-ft of combined torque and a 267-mile range from its 90.5 kWh pack.
Mercedes-Benz has confirmed it is dropping the EQE sedan, in both standard and AMG form, from the US lineup for the 2027 model year, after combined EQE sedan and SUV sales fell sharply; the company is folding electric powertrains into existing nameplates like the CLA and an upcoming electric C-Class instead of running a standalone EQE sedan. 2026 is therefore the final US model year.
It suited buyers who wanted a quiet, efficient electric alternative to the E-Class; the EQE SUV remains in the Mercedes-Benz US lineup for those who still want an electric EQE.
