The EQS.
The EQS Sedan is Mercedes-Benz's flagship electric sedan, sized and finished to compete with the S-Class. For 2027 the lineup gets more power across the board: the rear-wheel-drive EQS 450+ makes 402 hp, the EQS 500 4MATIC steps up to 469 hp and all-wheel drive, and the EQS 580 4MATIC tops the range at 576 hp. The EPA rates the all-wheel-drive versions at up to 443 miles of range.
All versions use fourth-generation MBUX with Microsoft and Google AI integration, AIRMATIC air suspension with intelligent damping that reads road surface data from other Mercedes-Benz vehicles, and seven years of standard MBUX Navigation with Electric Intelligence route planning. Mercedes-Benz has confirmed the EQS sedan and SUV remain in the US lineup for 2027, unlike the smaller EQE sedan and the Maybach EQS 680 SUV, both of which are discontinued.
It suits buyers who want S-Class-level comfort and technology with an electric powertrain and strong EPA-rated range.
