The G-Class.

The G-Class is Mercedes-Benz's off-road luxury SUV, and the G 550 is its gasoline, non-AMG version. For 2026 it uses a 3.0L turbocharged inline-6 with an electric auxiliary compressor and a 48-volt mild hybrid system, producing 443 hp and 413 lb-ft through a nine-speed automatic and permanent all-wheel drive with a two-speed transfer case.

Three lockable differentials, selectable low range and an off-road cockpit display with a 'transparent hood' view are standard, along with adaptive damping, a Burmester 3D surround sound system and stainless steel running boards. The non-AMG lineup also includes the all-electric G 580 with EQ Technology, offered as a 2027 model with 579 hp combined.

It suits buyers who want a five-seat luxury SUV with dedicated off-road hardware.
