The GLB.
The GLB is Mercedes-Benz's boxier compact SUV, positioned between the GLA and GLC with an optional third row; the current combustion generation continues for 2026, while an all-new combustion and electric GLB is listed on mbusa.com as a future 2027 vehicle not yet on sale. The GLB 250 uses a 2.0L turbocharged inline-4 with mild-hybrid assist, rated at 221 hp and 258 lb-ft, through an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic and standard front-wheel drive; 4MATIC all-wheel drive and a third row are both available.
Mercedes also sells the AMG GLB 35 4MATIC, which uses the same engine family tuned for more power with standard all-wheel drive.
It suits buyers who want optional third-row seating in the smallest, least expensive Mercedes SUV body that offers it.
