The Electric GLB.
The GLB with EQ Technology is Mercedes-Benz's new electric version of its compact seven-seat SUV, officially announced for U.S. arrival in fall 2027. The entry GLB 250+ uses a single electric motor rated at 268 hp and 247 lb-ft, while the GLB 350 4MATIC adds a second motor and all-wheel drive for 349 hp and 380 lb-ft; both share an 85 kWh battery and an 800-volt architecture with up to 320 kW DC fast charging, and top speed is electronically limited to 130 mph.
U.S. EPA range and pricing have not been officially published as of October 2026; Mercedes cites European WLTP-cycle figures of up to about 392 miles for the GLB 250+. The SUV keeps seating for up to seven, with a widened wheelbase and redesigned roofline Mercedes says add legroom and headroom versus the gasoline GLB, plus an optional SKY CONTROL panoramic roof and an available MBUX Superscreen.
It suits buyers who want the GLB's seven-seat practicality without a combustion engine, once U.S. pricing and EPA range are confirmed closer to launch.
