The GLS.
The GLS is Mercedes-Benz's largest, three-row SUV, updated for 2027 with a revised engine range alongside the related GLE. The GLS 450 4MATIC uses a 3.0L turbocharged inline-6 with 48-volt mild-hybrid assist, rated at 375 hp and 413 lb-ft, through a nine-speed automatic and standard 4MATIC all-wheel drive.
The GLS 580 4MATIC steps up to a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 at 530 hp, and the Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 tops the range with a hybrid-assisted version of the same V8 at 603 hp and a claimed 0-60 mph time of 4.0 seconds. All GLS models seat six or seven across three rows and offer Mercedes' MBUX Superscreen.
It suits buyers who need three-row seating and genuine towing capability in Mercedes' biggest, most expensive SUV.
