The Maybach GLS 600.
The Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 is the ultra-luxury version of Mercedes-Benz's largest SUV, and the 2026 model year is the version currently on sale in the U.S. as of October 2026. It uses a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, rated at 550 hp and 568 lb-ft, through a nine-speed automatic and 4MATIC all-wheel drive; Mercedes quotes 0-60 mph in 4.6 seconds.
Standard equipment includes heated 12-way power front seats with memory, Nappa leather trim with Natural Grain Grey Oak wood, 64-color LED ambient lighting and E-ACTIVE BODY CONTROL suspension. Maximum towing capacity is 7,700 lbs. An updated version, badged Maybach GLS 680, has been announced for the 2027 model year with a more powerful engine (see maybach-gls-2027).
