The 3 Series.
The 2027 BMW 3 Series is the all-new eighth-generation G50 sedan, bringing Neue Klasse design and technology to BMW's core gasoline model. The 330 uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 48V mild-hybrid technology rated at 255 hp and 295 lb-ft, paired with an eight-speed Steptronic automatic and rear-wheel drive, with BMW quoting 0-60 mph in 5.9 seconds.
The US lineup is the 330, 330 xDrive and the 437-hp M350 xDrive, which reaches 60 mph in 3.9 seconds and adds Adaptive M Suspension, an M Sport differential and a Drift Moment rear-drive setting. Production starts at Dingolfing in November 2026 and US sales begin in the first quarter of 2027. As of October 2026, BMW has not published EPA fuel economy, curb weight or trunk volume for the US models; the electric version is sold separately as the BMW i3.
It suits drivers who want the latest BMW technology and design in a gasoline sports sedan.
