The 2027 BMW 5 Series is a midsize luxury sedan from the generation introduced for the 2024 model year. The 530i uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 48V mild-hybrid technology, rated at 255 hp and 295 lb-ft, paired with an eight-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive.
The lineup includes the 530i, 530i xDrive, 540i xDrive with a 375-hp inline-six, and the 550e xDrive plug-in hybrid with 483 hp; the all-electric i5 and the M5 are sold alongside. Changes for 2027 are limited to pricing and package adjustments, and the trunk holds 18.3 cu ft.
