The i7.
The 2027 BMW i7 is the electric version of the updated seventh-generation 7 Series, revealed in April 2026 with a revised front end, a new interior and BMW Operating System X. The base i7 50 xDrive is now all-wheel drive, with two motors producing 449 hp and 487 lb-ft, a 0-60 mph time of about 5.3 seconds and a 112.5-kWh usable battery built with sixth-generation cylindrical cells.
The lineup has two models, the i7 50 xDrive and the 536-hp i7 60 xDrive; the previous eDrive50 and i7 M70 xDrive are not part of the 2027 range. The EPA rates the 50 xDrive at up to 373 miles, DC charging runs at up to 250 kW (10 to 80 percent in about 28 minutes), and a NACS port is standard. Adaptive two-axle air suspension is standard, and the car is built at BMW Group Plant Dingolfing.
It suits buyers who want a chauffeur-grade luxury sedan with near-silent electric drive and long range.
