The iX3.
The 2027 BMW iX3 is a compact electric SUV and the first production model of BMW's Neue Klasse, with a new 800-volt architecture, sixth-generation eDrive and the Panoramic iDrive cabin. The iX3 50 xDrive uses two motors for 463 hp and 476 lb-ft, with standard all-wheel drive and an estimated 0-60 mph time of 4.7 seconds.
The EPA rates it at up to 434 miles on optional 20-inch summer tires and 383 miles on the standard 20-inch all-season tires. DC charging at up to 400 kW adds an estimated 185 miles in 10 minutes, or 10 to 80 percent in 21 minutes, through a standard NACS port. Cargo space is 30.4 cu ft behind the rear seats and 65.0 cu ft with them folded, plus a 2.0 cu ft front trunk. US cars are built at BMW Group Plant Debrecen in Hungary and went on sale on September 25, 2026.
It suits buyers who want a compact luxury SUV with class-leading electric range and fast charging.
