The M4.
The 2027 BMW M4 is the high-performance coupe and convertible counterpart to the M3, carried over without major changes. The base M4 Coupe uses a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline-six rated at 473 hp and 406 lb-ft, paired with a six-speed manual and rear-wheel drive.
The M4 Competition Coupe moves to an eight-speed M Steptronic automatic and 503 hp, while the M4 Competition xDrive Coupe and M4 Competition xDrive Convertible make 523 hp with all-wheel drive. BMW quotes 3.4 seconds to 60 mph for the xDrive coupe and 3.6 seconds for the convertible, which has an electrically operated soft top. The limited M4 CS is no longer offered in the US.
It suits drivers who want a two-door M car with a manual option or an open-top, all-wheel-drive grand tourer.
