The X6.
The 2027 BMW X6 is a midsize luxury coupe-SUV from the third-generation (G06) X6, updated for the 2024 model year and continuing on the previous X5's platform while the new X5 moves to the next generation. The X6 xDrive40i uses a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six with 48V mild-hybrid technology, rated at 375 hp and 398 lb-ft, with an eight-speed Steptronic automatic and standard xDrive all-wheel drive.
The core lineup has two models: the X6 xDrive40i and the X6 M60i, which uses a 523-hp 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 and reaches 60 mph in 4.2 seconds, with the 617-hp X6 M Competition above them. For 2027 the M60i loses its optional Dynamic Handling Package and prices rise. Cargo space is 27.4 cu ft behind the rear seats and 59.6 cu ft with them folded, towing is rated at up to 7,209 lb, and the X6 is assembled at BMW Plant Spartanburg in South Carolina.
It suits buyers who want X5-class performance and all-wheel drive in a sleeker, more expressive coupe-style body.
